Jeddah: Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Branch in Makkah Region Fareed Al-Shehri participated in the opening ceremony of the new Pakistani Consulate in Jeddah alongside Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistani Ambassador Ahmad Farooq, Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani, and several other officials and diplomats.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the opening of the new consulate affirms the strength of the fraternal and historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, reflecting the commitment of both countries' leaderships to enhance bilateral cooperation across all fields.
It also underscores the Saudi government's continued support for diplomatic missions to perform their duties effectively, serving the interests of both nations, facilitating services for citizens and residents, and strengthening prospects for partnership and joint coordination.
