Riyadh: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah today participated in a panel discussion on peace pathways between Palestine and Israel during the Munich Security Conference Leaders' Meeting in AlUla. According to Saudi Press Agency, the session was attended by Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, via video conference, and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Jean-Noël Barrot. The panel discussion addressed the latest developments regarding the war in the Gaza Strip, efforts to achieve a ceasefire, and related international initiatives. It also highlighted the declarations made by numerous countries recognizing the State of Palestine, as part of advancing the implementation of the two-state solution and enhancing stability in the region. The session further discussed the importance of implementing all international resolutions, ending humanitarian suffering, and supporting efforts to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. It also referred to the Two-State Solution Conference, co-chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic, which resulted in an international consensus on the importance of implementing the conference's declaration aimed at peace, prosperity, and ending the protracted Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
