Football Leaders Unite in Riyadh for Three-Day AFC Conference

Riyadh: The AFC Member Associations and Regional Associations Presidents' and General Secretaries' Conference 2025 concluded yesterday in Riyadh following three days of sessions attended by football leaders and sports industry experts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa described the conference as a vital platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange among federations. He reaffirmed the AFC's commitment to implementing programs that advance Asian football.

Al Khalifa noted the conference provided an opportunity to reflect on achievements and shape the next phase of development. He emphasized that outcomes reflect renewed momentum driving Asian football's evolution as the AFC enters a pivotal phase supported by modern governance and enhanced competition structures.

He commended the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's organizational excellence and hospitality as key factors in the conference's success.

The conference concluded with participants reaffirming their support for the AFC's vision of establishing Asian football as a unified, globally distinguished force through innovation, excellence, and integration.
