Folkloric Performances Bring Aseer’s Heritage to Life at Abu Sarrah Palaces

Riyadh: The historic Abu Sarrah Palaces in Aseer Region hosted folkloric performances as part of the cultural events accompanying the Aseer Summer Season 2026. According to Saudi Press Agency, the event, which featured several folk groups, aimed to showcase the region's rich cultural heritage and introduce visitors to its traditional folk arts at one of Aseer's most prominent heritage sites. It also sought to revive these art forms in their historical setting, preserving and passing on Aseer's heritage to future generations while enriching the visitor experience through programs that blend authenticity with tourism. The Abu Sarrah Palaces are among Aseer's most prominent heritage landmarks, renowned for their centuries-old stone architecture, towering structures, spacious courtyards, and facilities that offer visitors an experience combining historical charm with the surrounding natural beauty.
