The first batch of Chadian pilgrims left Hassan Jamous International Airport today, heading for the holy sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj rituals for this year, 2023.
The 250 Chadian pilgrims were seen off at the airport by President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs of the Republic of Chad Mahamat Issa Khatir, the head of Chad’s Pilgrims Affairs Office, Omar Adouma Abdullah, and Saudi Ambassador to Chad Amer Al-Shehri.
This Hajj season, 9,000 Chadians will perform Hajj.
