Fires renewed in several locations on the outskirts of Ajloun and Jerash Friday after firefighters had managed to put them out. The Director of Ajloun Agriculture, Hussein Khalidi, told the Jordan News Agency, that the firefighters and local authorities in Ajloun and Jerash, supported by four Air Force planes, are combating the spread of fires that erupted again Friday. Khalidi explained that the difficulty of the terrain and the rugged roads hindered the firefighting operations, noting that there are field follow-ups to limit the spread of the fire in light of the high temperature.
