Busan: The Film Commission is participating in the Busan International Film Festival 2025, being held in Busan, Republic of Korea, from September 17 to 26. The festival is one of Asia's most prominent film events and among the largest global film markets, featuring feature films, documentaries, and showcases for emerging talent.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the commission's participation aims to strengthen cinematic and cultural ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Korea and expand opportunities for creative collaboration. A dedicated Saudi pavilion is showcasing the Kingdom's film initiatives and projects, with an official delegation of Saudi filmmakers highlighting local talent and engaging with international peers.
The participation also provides an opportunity to build relations with leading international cinema organizations, present Saudi Arabia's filming locations, expand the global reach of Saudi films, and open new horizons for partnerships that support sector growth.
