Al-Jouf region has recently hosted three festivals that helped revive the economy and tourism in the area and provided entertainment for families and youths from various governorates of the region. The 3rd edition of the Khairat Al-Jouf Festival, held yesterday in Sikaka Governorate, attracted nearly 70,000 visitors over four days, recording sales that exceeded the expectations of the participating farmers. It also included activities for children and entertainment programs, as well as corners where health awareness was raised and health services were offered. The 2nd edition of What a Nice Summer Entertainment Festival, held recently in Domat Al-Jandal Governorate, recorded a big visitor turnout due to the variety of fun activities and events and family entertainment options. It also contributed to supporting food vendors, entrepreneurs and productive families. Games aimed at boosting the mental skills of youth and children were also held at the event. The 3rd edition of the Fruit Festival, held in Taba rjal Governorate on Thursday, helped display and market the abundant fruit production in the region, which amounts to 170,000 tons annually, through 32 pavilions, in addition to entertainment events.
