Riyadh: Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) Secretary-General Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari today welcomed Georgian Prosecutor General Giorgi Gvarakidze and his accompanying delegation. The officials discussed ways to enhance cooperation in combating extremist ideology and topics of mutual interest, particularly those related to developing mechanisms for ideological counter-extremism and preventing radicalization.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Georgian prosecutor general was briefed on Etidal's most prominent initiatives and successes in monitoring and addressing extremist discourse, in addition to its role in activating international partnerships that support efforts to promote moderation and coexistence, and to counter extremist contents.
