Estidamah Launches New Program for Management of Greenhouse Crops

The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) is collaborating with the Dutch Greenhouse Delta (DGD) and NEOM Topian Company for food to implement a new greenhouse crop management program from October 13 to November 6, 2024. This is part of the center's larger goal of educating farmers and professionals on sustainable agriculture methods, improving greenhouse operations management, and sharing information. The training program will be launched in three primary tracks, and focus on 75 trainees, and industry professionals. It spans a four-week period and encompasses 11 primary topics, including the development of the agricultural value chain, integrated pest management, plant physiology, agricultural data analysis, and vertical farming. Participants will learn how to manage greenhouses, hone their talents, and share experiences in order to create a more sustainable agricultural future. Source: Saudi Press Agency
