Al-baha: The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture’s (Estidamah) tissue culture laboratory delivered 4,000 coffee seedlings and 15,000 blackberry seedlings grown using tissue culture technology to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in Al-Baha Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these efforts are part of Estidamah’s programs to develop micropropagation techniques, enhance agricultural diversity, and support farmers. The center stated that these initiatives align with the national agricultural strategy by introducing economically valuable crops and using research to improve food security and achieve agricultural sustainability.
