Riyadh: Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Mansour Al Mushaiti inaugurated the fourth annual BIOFACH SAUDI ARABIA, one of the world's leading organic products exhibitions. The three-day event is taking place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC) and aims to support and enhance the organic agriculture sector, attract investors, and engage stakeholders in sustainable agricultural practices.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the vice minister toured the exhibition, which features at least 53 exhibitors from nine countries. These exhibitors are showcasing the latest innovations in organic products, catering to both startups and established companies. The event is focused on promoting sustainable agricultural practices, supporting livestock farming and food manufacturing, and contributing to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
This exhibition is held in strategic partnership with the Saudi Organic Farming Association (SOFA) and coincides with the celebration of the Saudi Organic Food Day. It features wide international participation, including leading brands, agricultural companies, farmers, manufacturers, and academic and consulting institutions.
The event also hosts specialized workshops that discuss key challenges and opportunities in the organic sector. These workshops are presented by local and international speakers who share insights and provide the latest technical and practical solutions in organic agriculture.
