Environment Ministry Emphasizes Importance of Local Dairy Consumption During Ramadan

Riyadh: The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has highlighted the significance of consuming local dairy products during Ramadan, emphasizing their nutritional value and contribution to agricultural development and food supply chains, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's awareness campaign has revealed that daily dairy production in the country surpasses 2.75 million liters, effectively meeting consumer demand and enhancing food security. Local dairy offerings, including fresh milk, cream, yogurt, butter, and cheeses, play a crucial role in dietary habits, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

The ministry is urging consumers to opt for local dairy products, noting their nutritional benefits and reliability. This initiative supports livestock producers, strengthens the national economy, and promotes sustainable agricultural development.
