Dubai: The Ministry of Environment and Water has accredited Kenya’s Quality Meat Slaughterhouse for exporting frozen beef and sheep meat to UAE.
The accreditation was given after adequate examinations to determine that the Quality Meat Slaughterhouse conform to the legal and health regulations prevalent in the UAE.
Assistant Undersecretary for animal wealth and agriculture affairs at the Ministry Eng. Saif Mohammed Al-Shara signed an administrative order to this effect after a delegation from the ministry visited Kenya and found that the slaughterhouse safeguards food safety rules.
