Islamabad: Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley is scheduled to visit the Islamic Republic of Pakistan tomorrow to strengthen bilateral cooperation in food production and explore ways to develop and improve the efficiency of irrigation and water systems, supporting food security and trade growth between the two nations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, the minister and his accompanying delegation are set to hold a series of meetings with government officials to discuss ways to develop areas of cooperation and review key opportunities in agricultural and livestock production and food processing. The talks will also cover the exchange of experiences and expertise to support the sustainability of the agricultural sector and enhance its capacity for growth.
The visit reflects the shared commitment of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to strengthening ties and expanding areas of high-quality economic cooperation, as well as exploring opportunities for mutual investment in the food security sector.
