Riyadh: The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF), the organizer of the largest global event in gaming and esports, announced the addition of a distinguished lineup of speakers for the second annual New Global Sport Conference (NGSC 2025). The event will take place in Riyadh on August 23 and 24 under the theme 'The Next Game -- Building the Future of Gaming, Esports, and Sports.'

According to Saudi Press Agency, NGSC 2025 is intended to enhance the growing integration among the worlds of gaming, esports, and traditional sports, featuring over 1,500 leaders, decision-makers, investors, and creators from around the globe. Senior executives from major companies such as SEGA, Activision, Sony, and Bandai Namco will be in attendance.

This year's speaker lineup includes prominent figures such as world chess champion and global ambassador for Esports World Cup Magnus Carlsen, Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games organizing committee chairman Casey Wasserman, EA Sports former president Peter Moore, and CBS Sports' vice president of production and senior creative director Peter Radovich.

NGSC 2025 will also host leaders from major esports organizations like Team Liquid and Hero Esports along with representatives from the EWCF.

During the conference, Carlsen will discuss the status and future of digital chess globally. The inclusion of chess in the Esports World Cup (EWC 2025) highlights the growing presence of traditional sports in the online arena.

NGSC 2025 coincides with the final week of the EWC 2025, further solidifying the Kingdom's role as a global hub for digital innovation and the gaming industry.
