Riyadh: Ehsan Platform has announced that the National Campaign for Charitable Work achieved over SAR1.8 billion in donations this Ramadan, through more than 19 million individual contributions, highlighting the community's strong commitment to charitable giving during the holy month.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the fifth edition of the campaign was launched with substantial donations of SAR70 million from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The campaign's objective was to amplify the impact of the charitable sector and digitally empower it during Ramadan, a period of heightened charitable activity. This initiative aimed to foster a culture of donation and community solidarity, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030's goals of supporting the non-profit sector, community projects, and humanitarian causes, and promoting donations through official channels.
