Riyadh: The Ehsan Endowment Fund, part of the national charitable platform 'Ehsan,' stands as one of the Kingdom's most prominent philanthropic initiatives, representing an advanced model of institutional philanthropy. It serves as an effective philanthropic resource, supporting charitable work in all its forms while strengthening the culture of giving and reinforcing the values of solidarity and mutual support within Saudi society.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the fund enables donors to designate the beneficiaries of their endowments according to specific areas of expenditure. These areas include supporting mosques, sponsoring orphans, providing healthcare, assisting those in need, and other charitable causes in line with the donor's wishes.
In 2025, the fund experienced growth in community participation, with total donations exceeding SAR2 billion through more than 3.8 million contributions. This represented a 20% increase, bringing the fund's size to over 47% of the total endowment funds.
