Egypt’s Darul Iftaa, the body responsible for issuing religious edicts, announced on Thursday that it will sight the crescent of the holy month of Ramadan on 29th of Sha’ban.
The holy month is the ninth in the Islamic calendar, the month in which the Quran was revealed to Prophet Mohammed.
