Egyptian, Jordanian FMs hold talks on Arab issues, trilateral projects with Iraq

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry received Wednesday his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safady to confer over bilateral cooperation, and planned trilateral projects with Iraq.

The ministers said that they looked forward to the outcomes of the Supreme Egyptian-Jordanian Committee scheduled for the second half of 2023.

Minister Shokry and Minister Safady also held talks on regional developments of joint interest, circumstances of Syria and Libya, ways of pushing forward group work on Arab issues, and agenda of the 159th Session of the Arab Foreign Ministers Council currently chaired by Egypt.
