Egyptian fighter jet falls during training; no casualties: Army spox

An Egyptian fighter jet fell during training due to a technical malfunction on Saturday, the military spokesman said.

The pilot survived the crash without injuries, the spokesman confirmed, noting that the competent authorities have taken the required measures.

Spokesperson of the Egyptian Armed Forces also announced in November that a fighter jet crashed during training because of a technical malfunction and that the pilot and co-pilot survived.

Similar incidents occurred in June, December 2019, and November 2018 where the pilots managed to eject. The cause of the crashes was also technical and they all happened during training.
