The Health Ministry said 941 new coronavirus cases were detected in Egypt in the past 24 hours, upping the total number of infections to 345,848.
In a statement on Tuesday 16/11/2021, the ministry said 69 patients died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 19,636.
As many as 765 patients were discharged from hospitals after receiving medical care, taking the number of recoveries to 288,879, it added.
