The Health Ministry said 902 new coronavirus cases were detected in Egypt in the past 24 hours, upping the total number of infections to 349,513.
In a statement released on Saturday night, the ministry said 61 patients died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 19,872.
As many as 543 patients were discharged from hospitals after receiving medical care, taking the number of recoveries to 291,214, it added.
