The Health Ministry said 884 new coronavirus cases were detected in Egypt in the past 24 hours, upping the total number of infections to 350,397.
In a statement released Sunday night, the ministry said 61 patients died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 19,933.
As many as 766 patients were discharged from hospitals after receiving medical care, taking the number of recoveries to 291,980, it added.
