Egypt Condemns Attacks on Saudi Arabia and Gulf States

Cairo: The Arab Republic of Egypt has strongly condemned the targeting of Riyadh with ballistic missiles, reaffirming its full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-its leadership, government, and people-in confronting these attacks that threaten its security and stability, which are closely linked to the security and stability of Egypt and the Arab world.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued today by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt reiterated its firm condemnation of any threats or attempts to target oil and gas facilities in the Gulf states, including liquefied natural gas facilities in Ras Laffan, Qatar.

Egypt expressed deep concern over the targeting of energy facilities, describing it as an escalation with direct implications for global energy security, and consequently severe negative repercussions on the global economy, as well as on regional and international security and stability.

It also renewed its call for prioritizing wisdom and dialogue, and for intensifying efforts aimed at containing the current military escalation and ending the war in a manner that supports the foundations of regional and international security and stability.
