Egypt Condemns Attack on Saudi Hospital in El Fasher, Sudan

Riyadh: Egypt has strongly condemned the attack on a Saudi hospital in El Fasher, North Darfur, which claimed the lives of several innocent civilians seeking medical care.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt denounced the targeting of civilian infrastructure, including healthcare facilities, as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights laws, which safeguard the protection of such essential services.

The statement emphasized the critical need to halt the violence in El Fasher, warning that continued escalation would result in further loss of innocent lives. Egypt, in the statement, extended its condolences to the Sudanese people and the families of the victims.
