Education Ministry and Mawhiba Launch National Gifted Olympiad

Riyadh: Vice Minister of Education for General Education Dr. Saad Awad Al Harbi and Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) Abdulaziz Al-Kraidis today launched the National Gifted Olympiad at the Ministry of Education headquarters in Riyadh. According to Saudi Press Agency, the launch marks a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Education and Mawhiba, aimed at identifying gifted students across the nation. This collaboration seeks to enhance their scientific and research capabilities, ultimately preparing them for a wide range of competitions on local, regional, and international levels. The National Gifted Olympiad is designed to foster scientific thinking, research, and problem-solving skills among students. It aims to strengthen the integration between educational institutions and national entities involved in talent development. The Olympiad will feature specialized tracks focused on discovery, qualification, advanced trainin g, and participation in scientific competitions.
