Riyadh: Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef, along with several other officials, have launched the 'Mawhiba Summer' program. This initiative, organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity 'Mawhiba', will take place in 19 cities across Saudi Arabia and abroad, in collaboration with selected academic and research institutions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Mawhiba Summer offers a variety of enrichment and scientific programs. These include the Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program, Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program, Mawhiba Universal Enrichment Program, Mawhiba Ambassadors Program, the Game Development Program, and additional technology programs. The programs are structured within four specialized tracks: Human Health, Leadership in Energy and Industry, Environmental Sustainability and Basic Needs, and Future Economies. These tracks align with Saudi Arabia's national priorities for research, development, and innovation.

Minister Al-Benyan highlighted that the Mawhiba Summer program creates a specialized pathway for enriching the knowledge of gifted students and developing their skills in stimulating learning environments. This is achieved through 88 enrichment units conducted in Saudi Arabia and abroad, benefiting over 12,000 talented male and female students. He emphasized that these programs demonstrate the effective partnership between the Ministry of Education, Mawhiba, and relevant stakeholders in preparing a generation capable of excelling in science and knowledge-based fields.
