Washington: Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim participated in the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), held in Washington, D.C.

He also met with Vice President for Infrastructure at the World Bank Guangzhe Chen and several senior officials from the World Bank and the IMF. The release added that the discussions focused on strengthening existing economic collaboration and reviewing the latest global developments of mutual interest.
The minister also took part in a fireside chat at Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), hosted by the Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies, where he highlighted Saudi Arabia's economic transformation under Saudi Vision 2030 and discussed the importance of international partnerships in addressing global challenges.
The Ministry of Economy and Planning additionally hosted a side event in collaboration with Georgetown University.
