AlUla: Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim participated in a panel discussion titled ‘Productivity in Emerging and Developing Markets: Challenges and Opportunities’ at the AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the session, Minister Alibrahim highlighted Saudi Arabia’s approach to economic diversification through creative innovation and market expansion to build a sustainable economic future. He emphasized the necessity of bold decision-making and innovation-driven entrepreneurship in national transformations, noting upcoming policies aimed at accelerating growth.
He also stressed the importance of balanced AI governance through international collaboration, underscoring the need for real and effective solutions. He further highlighted the whole-of-government approach driving economic transformation, stating that adopting transformative technology alone is insufficient-it must be complemented by talent development and capacity-building to maximize its potential.
