Eastern Region Governor Launches New Initiative Dedicated to Serving Pilgrims

Riyadh: Governor of the Eastern Region Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz today launched a new initiative aimed at providing a range of services to pilgrims arriving in the Kingdom through border crossings in the Eastern Region. The initiative is organized by the Sanad Association for Social Responsibility in Al-Ahsa, in cooperation with several relevant entities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Saud emphasized that serving pilgrims is both an honor and a national responsibility, reflecting the Kingdom's deeply rooted values. He affirmed that the Saudi government is committed to mobilizing all available resources and enhancing services for pilgrims and Umrah performers in a manner that upholds the Kingdom's honorable image and reaffirms its leading role in serving Islam and Muslims.
