South Papua: A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of South Papua province, in eastern Indonesia, on Saturday. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency reported that the quake occurred at 9:20 pm local time (2120 GMT). The earthquake's epicenter was located 69 kilometers northwest of Asmat Regency, at a depth of 10 kilometers. No tsunami warning was issued as the quake did not have the potential to trigger significant waves. So far, there are no reports of casualties or major damage.
