Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating that parts of Eastern, Najran, Riyadh, Madinah, and Makkah regions will experience dusty and active winds on Saturday. These conditions are expected to significantly reduce visibility, particularly along the coastal road to Jazan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderstorm clouds accompanied by active winds are anticipated over parts of Jazan and Aseer regions. In the Red Sea, winds will vary, being northerly to northwesterly at 10 to 25 km/h in the north, and reaching speeds of up to 45 km/h in the center. In the south, winds will shift to westerly to northwesterly at 25 to 50 km/h, with sea waves ranging from half a meter to one meter in the north, up to one and a half meters in the center, and from one to two and a half meters in the south. The sea conditions are expected to be calm to moderate in the north and center, but moderate to rough in the south.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will predominantly be westerly to northwesterly at 15 to 40 km/h in the north and center, and easterly to northeasterly at 10 to 25 km/h in the south. Waves are predicted to range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the north and center, and from half a meter to one meter in the south. The sea is expected to remain calm to moderate in the north and center, and calm in the south.
