Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are forecasted to sweep across parts of Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, and Madinah regions on Thursday. Fog is likely to develop during nighttime and early morning hours along the coastal areas of Makkah and the Eastern regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has provided detailed weather conditions expected for the day. In the Red Sea, winds will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at speeds ranging from 25 to 55 km/h. In the southern part, winds will shift to southeasterly to southwesterly with speeds between 12 to 45 km/h. Sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy, with waves anticipated to range from half a meter to two meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly in the northern and central regions, and northeasterly to northwesterly in the southern region, blowing at speeds of 10 to 28 km/h. The sea is expected to remain relatively calm with waves reaching from half a meter to one meter.
