Riyadh: Weather forecast for Wednesday indicates that parts of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders regions will experience dust-stirring winds, potentially impacting visibility and local conditions. Light rain is also anticipated in some areas of these regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds are predicted to occur in the regions of Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, and Riyadh. This may lead to temporary disruptions and caution is advised for residents and travelers in these areas.
Winds over the Red Sea are expected to vary throughout the day. In the northern part, winds will be southeasterly to southerly, shifting to southwesterly to northwesterly by evening, with speeds ranging from 15-50 km/h. In the central and southern parts, winds will remain southerly to southeasterly at speeds of 12-40 km/h. Wave heights could reach from half a meter to over two meters, making the sea conditions calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to westerly winds are expected in the northern part at speeds of 12-32 km/h, and similar winds will prevail in the southern and central parts at 18-38 km/h. Wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, maintaining relatively calm sea conditions.
