Jeddah: Weather conditions across various regions in Saudi Arabia are expected to change significantly on Friday, with dust-stirring winds and possible rain and hail.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted moderate to heavy rain and hail in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Riyadh regions, while light to moderate rain is anticipated in Madinah, Qassim, Hail, and Najran regions.
Winds in the Red Sea are expected to vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds blowing at speeds of 20-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southwesterly to southeasterly winds at 10-50 km/h in the southern part. The wave height may range from one to over two meters, with the sea conditions fluctuating between calm and choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to northerly winds are predicted at speeds of 20-45 km/h over the southern part, with wave heights also ranging from one to over two meters, and the sea conditions expected to be calm to choppy.
