Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology predicts a range of weather conditions across several regions of Saudi Arabia on Sunday. Dust-stirring winds are expected, and there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain accompanied by hail in areas including Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Qassim, and Hail.
According to Saudi Press Agency, light to moderate rain is anticipated in parts of Najran, Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha. The Red Sea will experience southeasterly to southwesterly winds in the central part, with speeds between 15-50 km/h. Waves may vary between half a meter and over two meters, leading to calm to choppy sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, the northern part will see northwesterly to northeasterly winds, while the southern part will have southeasterly to easterly winds, reaching 15-35 km/h. Waves in the Gulf are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in relatively calm seas.
