Madinah: Dust-stirring winds are forecasted to sweep through parts of Saudi Arabia, with possibilities of rain and hail in specific regions. Areas that might experience these weather conditions include Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Northern Borders, and Eastern regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has indicated that winds over the Red Sea will vary. In the northern and central parts, they are expected to be northwesterly to northerly, while in the southern part, they will shift from southeasterly to southwesterly, with speeds ranging from 20-50 km/h. Consequently, wave heights may vary from one to over two meters, leading to calm to choppy sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, the wind patterns will also differ. Northeasterly to southeasterly winds are anticipated in the northern and central areas, reaching speeds of 15-50 km/h. Meanwhile, the southern region may experience northwesterly to southwesterly winds at speeds of 8-28 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to two meters, resulting in calm to choppy seas.
