Dust-Stirring Winds and Rain Expected in Several Regions of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are expected to sweep across various regions of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by moderate to heavy rain and hail in areas including Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, Al-Jouf, and the Eastern and Northern Borders regions. The weather conditions are forecasted to potentially include rain and snow in parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Tabuk.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds ranging from 15 to 50 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southwesterly to southeasterly at speeds of 20-42 km/h in the southern part. The wave height is expected to vary from half a meter to more than two meters, causing the sea to be calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will likely be easterly to northeasterly, reaching speeds of 20-50 km/h. The waves in this region may range from a meter to more than two meters, with the sea conditions being relatively calm to choppy.
