Dust-Stirring Winds and Rain Expected Across Eastern Region

Riyadh: Weather conditions are anticipated to change significantly on Friday, with dust-stirring winds and varied rainfall patterns expected in different regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted moderate to heavy rain and hail for parts of the Eastern Region.

The weather prediction further indicates that light to moderate rain may affect several other regions, including Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders. Additionally, fog formation is likely during the night and early morning hours in these areas, as well as in parts of Hail and Qassim.

Over the Red Sea, winds are expected to shift between northwesterly and westerly directions at speeds ranging from 10 to 45 km/h, with wave heights fluctuating between half a meter and two meters, leading to calm to choppy sea conditions. In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will vary from northeasterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10 to 40 km/h, with similar wave patterns expected, resulting in a calm to choppy sea.
