Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds coupled with potential rain and hail are expected to affect several regions across Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh, Qassim, Madinah, Makkah, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, Najran, and the Eastern region. Fog formation is also anticipated in these areas.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary from northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, reaching speeds of 25-50 km/h, while the southern part will experience southerly to southeasterly winds at 18-45 km/h. The Red Sea may experience waves ranging from one to over two meters, with conditions being relatively calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, the wind patterns will shift throughout the day. Northeasterly to southeasterly winds are expected, transitioning to northwesterly in the evening in the northern and central parts. Meanwhile, the southern part will see easterly to southeasterly winds, changing to northeasterly in the evening at speeds of 12-50 km/h. Waves in the Arabian Gulf could range from half a meter to over two meters, with sea conditions being calm to choppy.
