Dust-Stirring Winds and Light Rain Expected in Parts of the Kingdom

Riyadh: Weather conditions are expected to vary across the Kingdom on Friday, with dust-stirring winds, fog, and light rain predicted in different regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted that the western and northwestern parts of the Kingdom will experience dust-stirring winds. In the southern parts of the Eastern Region, fog may form, and there is a possibility of rain during the night and early morning hours. Light rain is also expected in parts of the highlands of Jazan and Aseer regions.

Winds over the Red Sea will vary in direction, being northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at speeds of 10-25 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part at speeds of 15-45 km/h. Waves are predicted to range from half a meter to two meters, with the sea conditions being calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern part and easterly to northeasterly in the southern part at speeds of 10-25 km/h. The waves are expected to reach from half a meter to one meter, with the sea remaining relatively calm.
