Dust-Stirring Winds and Heavy Rain Forecasted Across Several Regions in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted dust-stirring winds in various parts of Saudi Arabia, including the Eastern, Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, Madinah, and Makkah regions. Additionally, these areas, along with Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, and Najran, may experience moderate to heavy rain and hail.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary. In the northern part, winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, while in the central and southern parts, they will be southeasterly to southwesterly, with speeds ranging from 22 to 60 km/h. Waves are expected to range from one to over three meters, with the sea conditions varying from relatively calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are predicted to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15 to 50 km/h. The wave heights may reach from half a meter to over two meters, with sea conditions remaining calm to choppy.
