Dust-Stirring Winds and Heavy Rain Expected in Several Regions of Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: Dust-stirring winds and moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by hail, are predicted to impact parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah. There is also a possibility of fog developing over the highlands in these regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty winds and light rain may affect areas in Hail, Madinah, and Najran, as well as the southern parts of the Eastern Region. The forecast indicates that winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly, with speeds ranging from 20 to 55 km/h, causing waves to vary from half a meter to two and a half meters, making the sea calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to northerly winds are expected at speeds of 15 to 30 km/h. The waves in this region will range from half a meter to one meter, resulting in relatively calm sea conditions.
