Discussion Sessions Held to Advance Early Preparations for 1448 AH Hajj Season

Riyadh: Upon the directives of Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, and under the supervision and follow-up of Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Makkah Principality Agency for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, in cooperation with the Hajj Projects Management Office of the Pilgrim Experience Program, organized a series of discussion sessions to review early preparations for the 1448 AH Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, representatives from 60 entities involved in serving pilgrims at the holy sites participated in the three-day sessions. They reviewed the outcomes of the 1447 AH Hajj season and developed proposals and recommendations aimed at building on the achievements of the previous season.

The recommendations focused on enhancing operational plans, strengthening proactive efforts, improving integration and coordination among participating entities, and fostering a shared understanding of roles and responsibilities.

The sessions also focused on achieving the highest levels of operational readiness. Participants discussed mechanisms to proactively address potential operational challenges and deliver the highest standard of services to pilgrims.
