Diriyah Governor and Tourism Minister Collaborate to Boost Global Tourism Appeal

Diriyah: Governor of Diriyah Prince Rakan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz received today at his office Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of the Tourism Development Fund (TDF) Ahmed Al-Khateeb. During the meeting, they discussed integration in developing the tourism sector in the governorate and reviewed initiatives and projects supporting the local community and enhancing Diriyah's status as a global destination.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Rakan affirmed strengthening joint efforts with the Ministry of Tourism to develop tourism experiences and highlight the governorate's historical and cultural heritage, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He expressed appreciation to the minister for the ministry's continued support, noting its role in accelerating tourism development and enhancing Diriyah's global standing.

The minister affirmed that Diriyah is a key pillar of the national tourism ecosystem, citing its historical and cultural depth. He added that ongoing projects contribute to delivering distinctive tourism experiences and enhancing the Kingdom's appeal regionally and internationally.
