Makkah: His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, visited the Armed Forces Hospital in Mina, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Defense's Health Services.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Saud was briefed by Major General Abdullah Al-Otaibi, the supervisor of the Health Services Mission at the Ministry of Defense. The briefing detailed the hospital's medical services, which include a bed capacity of 50 beds and 21 specialized clinics that can be expanded if necessary. The site also hosts an integrated field hospital with a capacity of 50 beds, featuring an operating room, a recovery room, a laboratory, an x-ray facility, a pharmacy, and inpatient wards for both men and women.
Further facilities include two emergency centers. The first center, with 11 beds, is equipped with an isolation room, a cardiac resuscitation room, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and four medical clinics. The second emergency center, located next to the Jamarat building, has a capacity of 20 beds and is designed to handle emergency cases, particularly focusing on treating sunstroke and heat stress.
