Islamabad: Pakistani Senate Deputy Chairman Syed Adil Khan Nasir praised the strength of the fraternal and historical ties that bind Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He stressed that the brotherly relations between the two countries are based on the bonds of religion, history, culture, mutual trust, and the joint pursuit of development. The remarks of Vice Chairman Syed Adil Khan Nasir came in a speech he delivered at the trade summit organized by the Saudi Al-Rai Group in cooperation with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Adil Khan Nasir affirmed that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 enhances Saudi-Pakistani trade cooperation and contributes to opening new horizons for global investment and private sector growth, providing promising opportunities for the Pakistani business community. He congratulated the Saudi Al-Rai Group on organizing this summit, describing it as an important initiative to expand an d diversify trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. He affirmed the support of the National Parliament and the government for initiatives that contribute to deepening trade and economic relations, providing job opportunities, and transferring technologies, in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries. The summit witnessed the signing of 12 memoranda of understanding between Pakistani and Saudi companies, in a step aimed at expanding trade and investment cooperation, and taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
