Rabat: As part of efforts to boost economic ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Morocco, a delegation from the Federation of Saudi Chambers, led by Hassan Al-Huwaizi, paid an official visit to Rabat to explore available investment opportunities and enhance public-private sector cooperation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, the delegates held a series of meetings with several ministers to discuss strategic issues related to trade and investment.
The delegation began its engagements with Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour, where discussions focused on enhancing trade cooperation and expanding commercial exchanges between the two countries.
The delegation also met with Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests Ahmed El Bouari, who highlighted the vast potential of the agriculture and fisheries sectors, offering new prospects for collaboration in production and export.
Additionally, a meeting was held with Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies Karim Zaidan, where talks addressed investment policies and joint projects that contribute to sustainable development.
The delegation also discussed areas of cooperation in renewable energy with Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development Leila Benali, with an emphasis on exchanging experiences and expertise in this vital sector.
