Riyadh: Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has met with Yemen's Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik in Riyadh. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Khalid conveyed greetings and congratulations from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Yemeni prime minister on his appointment, and their wishes for security, stability, and prosperity for the Yemeni people.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Yemeni prime minister sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince. The two officials reviewed fraternal ties between their nations, discussed ways to strengthen relations, and addressed recent developments in Yemen and the region.
Prince Khalid affirmed the Kingdom's continued support for the Yemeni government in meeting the economic and development aspirations of the Yemeni people.
